The reason why many players fail with Thrall is because they pick wrong skill builds. This fact might seem a little strange to you because hey, what does skill build(s) have to do with someone's knowledge, right? Someone's knowledge is actually based on how good they can adapt to different situations by choosing the right skill build. Skill builds should always be a matter of choice. Everyone should pick skills they prefer over skills others told them to pick because there is no such a thing as a "perfect skill build". I will show you three examples of my favorite skill builds that should cover all possible situations in game.
Level 1 - Thunder Strike
Level 2 - Kinetic Field
Level 3 - Thunder Strike
Level 4 - Glimpse
Level 5 - Thunder Strike
Level 6 - Static Storm
Level 7 - Thunder Strike*
Level 8 - Kinetic Field
Level 9 - Kinetic Field
Level 10 - Glimpse
Level 11 - Static Storm
Level 12 - Kinetic Field*
Level 13 - Glimpse
Level 14 - Glimpse*
Level 15 - +
Level 16 - Static Storm*
Level 17-25. - +
Thunder Strike is maxed out first because it is your primary nuke and harassing tool.
Kinetic Field is maxed out during mid game because you need to use it often, especially in teamfights.
Glimpse is maxed out after Thunder Strike and Kinetic Field because you don't need it early game as much as you need your other skills.
Static Storm is always maxed out when you get the chance. Such a powerful ultimate should always be picked and used.
This is the most common skill build for Thrall. It's usually picked by players who want to play very offensively and especially by players who wish to go solo in lane. This skill build is very effective and I recommend it for harassers, gankers and offensive fighters.
